Beautiful Lyre harp made of rosewood with celtic carvings. 16 metal strings for a total of 2 octaves. Height is 25 inches.
Beautiful tone! Inlaid arms and stars carved on the soundboard add to the beauty of this instrument.
The lyre is probably the most ancient of harp designs. Harp is held to the side with one arm for playing with the other hand. Very easy to
pluck out a melody or multiple strings for chords. Playing this harp makes me feel like Mr. Spock from Star Trek!
Comes complete with nylon zipper case and tuning tool. Guitar strings are used as replacement strings.
Key of D from longest to shortest: D E F# G A B C# D E F# G A B C# D E Guitar wire can be used to replace the strings Approximate gages re: .028, .025, .025, .025, .017, .017, .013, .013, .013, .013, .011, .011, .011
